We build the thing that makes the phone ring.

Highwire is a creative agency for businesses that are tired of being invisible. We design and build the site, write what it says, then go out and get the traffic — measured, reported and answerable to one number: how many people called you.

01What we do

Three ways to work together.

Most businesses start with a site and add the rest once it's earning. Some need the whole engine on day one. Both are fine — what never works is buying advertising to point at a page that was never built to convert.

Essential

For businesses that need to exist properly online — and stop losing work to a competitor with a better website.

  • Custom website, five to eight pages
  • Copywriting for every page
  • Mobile-first build, tuned for speed
  • Google Business Profile set up correctly
  • Contact forms and click-to-call
  • Analytics and conversion tracking

Ongoing · limited number of clients

Advertising comes after the numbers, not before.

Pointing paid traffic at a page that doesn't convert is the most common way a business burns a budget. We build the site with tracking on it, then let thirty days of your own data decide whether ads are worth running at all.

01

Tracking from day one

Every form, every phone tap, every source it came from — built into the site at no extra cost, whether you ever run an ad or not.

02

Thirty days of real numbers

How many people landed, how many actually called, and where they came from. You see the same dashboard we do.

03

Then we talk traffic

Google, Local Services, Meta — or nothing at all, if the site is already doing the job on its own. We'll tell you honestly which it is.

No packages to pick between.

We look at your numbers, tell you what it would take, and you decide. Run ads for one busy weekend or leave them running for years — there's no minimum term and nothing to choose up front.

02Capabilities

The full list, including the parts nobody asks for.

Half of what makes a site earn its keep happens where the client never looks — tracking, structured data, speed, the route a lead takes to reach your phone. It's in every build whether you ask for it or not.

03Work

Four industries.
Four different worlds.

A roofer should not look like a real estate firm, and neither should look like an insurance agency. Each of these is a complete, working site — open one and scroll it.

The firm's entire pitch is that one team carries a house from drawing to keys. So the homepage does the same thing — scroll it and the hero rebuilds itself from excavated foundation, to timber frame, to finished home at golden hour.

Hail on May 14?

Most Missouri policies give you 12 months to file. We document the damage for free — whether you hire us or not.

Roofing sells on trust and timing, not beauty. A storm-deadline bar sits under the fold, a drag-to-compare slider shows a real tear-off, and the claims process is written out in four steps — because that's the question homeowners actually have.

These four are concept builds — complete working sites made to show range across industries, using invented brands rather than client names. Client projects are shown on request.

04How it goes

Five steps. No mystery.

You'll know the price and the timeline before you commit to anything. Most of the work is ours — you'll spend about two hours across the whole project.

  1. 01

    The call

    30 minutes · free

What the business does, who you want calling, and what the current site is failing at. We'll also ask what a new customer is worth to you — that number decides everything that follows.

  2. 02

    The plan

    Within a day

A written scope: pages, features, timeline and one fixed price. No hourly billing, no line items appearing later. Sign it or don't — there's no follow-up sequence either way.

  3. 03

    Design

    Day one

Real designs with your real content and photographs, not grey placeholder boxes. A round of changes is built into the price.

  4. 04

    Build

    Days two to three

Hand-coded, tested on real phones, tuned for speed and accessibility. You get a private link to watch it come together and forward to whoever needs to see it.

  5. 05

    Launch & measure

    Day four, then monthly

We flip the switch, submit to Google and walk you through editing it. Tracking goes on from hour one, so thirty days later there's real data to decide what happens next.

05How we work

Four things we won't move on.

Agencies mostly compete on promises. These are the four positions that decide whether we're a good fit before either of us wastes a call.

You own everything

Domain, hosting, code, ad accounts, pixel data — all registered in your name from day one. If you leave, you export it and go. Nothing is held back as leverage.

One fixed price

Quoted after a call, before any work starts. We'd rather scope tightly and hold the number than bill hourly and watch a project drift.

No guaranteed leads

Anyone promising a lead count is guessing or lying. What we guarantee is that you'll know what every lead cost within a day of it arriving.

We'll tell you no

If your ad budget is too small to work, or a repair beats a rebuild, we'll say so. Selling someone a thing that can't succeed costs more than the job is worth.

06Questions

The things everyone asks.

What does this cost?
It depends on page count and what has to work behind the site — a five-page site for a local trade and a twenty-page build with booking and payments are different projects. After a 30-minute call you get one fixed price for the whole thing, in writing. You'll never see an hourly invoice or a surprise line item.
How long does it take?
Three to four days once all the content and information has been shared with us — photos, logo, services, hours, anything that needs to appear on the page. The clock starts when that lands with us, not when you sign, so the faster you send it over the faster you're live.
Do I own the site when it's done?
Completely. Domain, hosting account, code, analytics and any ad accounts are registered in your name from the start. If you ever want to hand it to someone else, you export it and go.
Can I update it myself afterwards?
Yes. We make editable whatever you'll actually need to change — hours, services, staff, prices, posts — and record a short walkthrough for your specific site. If you'd rather never touch it, ongoing plans include unlimited small edits.
Do I need advertising, or just a website?
Usually the site first. Pointing paid traffic at a page that doesn't convert is the most common way small businesses waste an ad budget. We build the site with tracking on it, and thirty days later there's real data showing whether the problem is the page or the number of people seeing it. Then it's an informed decision rather than a guess.
How much do I need to spend on ads?
Around $1,500 a month is the practical floor, and that isn't us being greedy — the ad platforms need a certain volume of conversions before they stop guessing who to show you to. Below that you pay for a permanent learning phase. If your budget is under it, we'll tell you to wait rather than take the work.
Will it show up on Google?
Every build ships with clean structure, fast load times, proper page titles, structured data, and your business configured correctly in Google Business Profile and Search Console. That's the foundation. Outranking established competitors in a competitive market is ongoing work, and we'll be straight about whether you need it.
I already have a site. Can you just fix it?
Sometimes. If it's built on something solid and the problem is design, speed or copy, a rework is faster and cheaper than starting over. If it's a page-builder template held together with fourteen plugins, rebuilding genuinely costs less than repairing. We'll audit it free and tell you which one you have.
What happens after launch?
Thirty days of everything-fixed-free, no questions. After that you can take an ongoing plan — hosting, backups, security, monitoring and unlimited small edits — or take the keys and host it yourself. Plenty of clients do the latter and that's genuinely fine.
Do you work with clients outside your area?
Yes. Most of the work happens over calls and shared links regardless of where you are. Local clients get an in-person kickoff if they want one; everyone else gets the same process on the same timeline.
